Since the July 3rd launch of the site, GreatThirdRail.org has grown and continues to expand in size and information. With this in consideration, it was decided that we now needed provide our sources.

First & Fastest

First & Fastest is the Shore Line Interurban Historical Society's excellent quarterly publication. Much information on the Chicago Aurora & Elgin can be found within the pages of First & Fastest and a fair portion of the information here came from those pages.
